Andrew Jones, known across the internet as "Tall Skinny Kiwi," is a New Zealand-born missionary, church developer, and one of the earliest and most widely-read Christian bloggers, whose decades of writing helped shape the global conversation around the emerging and missional church. He grew up in Orewa, New Zealand, before moving to Perth in Western Australia, and from the early 1980s onward worked in and out of the United States, in Prague, across continental Europe from a campervan, and now from the Orkney Islands of Scotland. By his own account he launched his first space on the internet in 1997 and has been writing, teaching, and chronicling the renewal of the church online for more than two decades since — running, in the words of one observer, "one of the most read blogs in cyberspace" on matters of emerging church, mission, and culture.
